Manchester City to loan Erling Haaland for the 28-day World Cup period.
English Premier League side Ashton United have offered Manchester City a 28-day loan deal for Erling Haaland.
After joining Manchester City last summer, 22-year-old Norwegian striker Erling Haaland has exploded in form, scoring 23 goals in 18 appearances this season.
But with the homeland national team, Norway, not qualified to play in the upcoming World Cup. Causing the former star from Borussia Dortmund to be forced to sit and cheer for the team at the club instead
That made Ashton United come up with this idea. with an announcement from the club that “We can confirm that the club has agreed to offer 28-day loan offer for Erling Haaland.”
“Given the situation with Manchester City suspended until the end of December in the lead up to the 2022 World Cup, Ashton United voluntarily has Haaland play an official match with us in order to maintain a healthy playing field. Fit until the Premier League resumes.”
“We still haven’t received any response from City,” and concluded that “We are not kidding. We are really waiting for an answer.” Ashton United, Manchester City’s team, is rank 11th in the league. 8 points behind the Hyde United crowd.
